This musical instrument produces sound when teeth of a gear touch a vibrating plate. It can make like a concatenation of pulse sound which is not easy to produce in digital. A musical scale is represented by fitting a duty of musical interval to a duty of the number of teeth. All gears work mesh each other, so you can change the pitch of a sound by changing the fundamental number of revolution.
