This work attempts to foster communication with others existing on the other side of the internet.
The ambient sounds around the viewer's device transform into wind, causing a single candle flame on the internet to flicker. Every viewer looks at this exact same flame. The individual devices are connected in real time, and the sounds surrounding each one become part of the wind. The flickering of the flame serves as a trace of someone who might be out there on the other side of the internet, while simultaneously transmitting one’s own existence to others.
This piece can be viewed exclusively from sunset to sunrise.
